Show Notes
- Applications and widgets are not the same.
- A widget displays information or data from an application and puts it on your Home screen.
- Widgets often come with more than one option.
- For example, in this tutorial, we show a Remember The Milk widget that's 3 x 3 and another that's 2 x 2.
- Often, the makers of widgets provide a variety like this so you can have the size you want.
- In many cases, the larger widget may provide more information.
- To install a widget, just hold your finger down on the screen in a blank area.
- A menu will come up called Add To Home and you want to tap Widget.
- Now select the widget you want.
- Once that's done, the widget will appear on the Home screen.
- You can hold your finger down on the widget to move it around.
- If you decide you don't want a widget, just hold it down and drag it to the bottom of the screen where it will say Remove.
