Definition:
In tech terms, 3D uses either anaglyph (red and white) polarized (un-powered glasses that look like regular sunglasses) or active shutter (powered, clear lenses) glasses and a corresponding on-screen image to trick your brain into seeing a three dimensional scene on a two dimensional viewing plane. Another more recent 3D technology is glasses-free 3D using a lenticular screen overlay, as in the Nintendo 3DS and some glasses-free 3D smartphones.Video related to 3D
