White iPhone 4 may launch by month's end. In related news: Unicorns are real

I’m not entirely sure who is still anticipating the white iPhone 4? I would imagine this person is extremely patient and tolerant given the product was announced more than 10 months ago to no avail. Then again, I’m prone to impulse buys, so what would I know of patience and its many (alleged) virtues.
According to Bloomberg.com, Apple is set to release the coveted white version of the iPhone at the end of this month. The information comes from source who apparently is in the know but who cannot disclose his/her identity – common in these types of scenarios. This information, however, would support Phil Schiller’s earlier promise of the white handset's availability by spring's end.
The mythical (some say disease-curing) white iPhone was supposed to launch near its dark-toned brother, however, a slew of technical issues kept it from the public. These kinks are now said to have been worked out, meaning Apple Co-founder Steve Wozniak can stop buying illegally sourced parts to construct his own.
The white iPhone is one of those rare missteps from Apple that you rarely hear about. One would think their Quality Control department would catch such things before making a formal announcement, but considering the iPhone 4 also spawned Antenagate, it might be safe to assume that Apple is only human after all. Or at least that’s what my therapist leads me to believe. (I secretly suspect he works for RIM).
