What can I do with Accordance?
Using Accordance on your iOS device, you can:
Read any Accordance-compatible Bible, reference work, or book
View Bible texts, commentaries, and even your own user notes in parallel panes
Tap and hold on an English word in a Bible with Strongs numbers to see the original Greek or Hebrew word it translates
Tap and hold on a Greek or Hebrew word to see its dictionary form, parsing, and English gloss
Tap and hold on a verse reference to attach a note to that verse
Search in English, Greek, Hebrew, and other languages
Use powerful search commands and search criteria
Search Greek and Hebrew texts by lexical form, inflected form, root, and grammatical characteristics
Search any Accordance Tool module by different fields, such as Titles, Content, Scripture, or Captions
Tap and hold the picture icon in a Tool to view maps, timelines, photographs, and artwork full screen
Tap and hold Scripture hyperlinks in Tools to see the text of those verses
Tap the Go To button to navigate Bibles by book, chapter, and verse, or Tools by Table of Contents

What do I get in the initial download?
The initial download includes the English Standard Version, courtesy of Crossway Bibles. Strong's numbers link the English words of the ESV to the underlying Greek and Hebrew, enabling you to do in depth word studies. Also included are:

What's New in version 1.2

New Features
• Desktop syncing allows the transfer of modules from your Accordance for Mac installation to your iOS device over Bonjour networking. (Requires Accordance for Mac 9.3 and an active WiFi connection.)
• User notes syncing and merging in both directions.
• A new “Book� button now appears in the top information bar after performing a search. Tap this button to clear the search result and return to the default reading mode.
• In the reading mode of a text search view, quickly switch between modules in the same category and keep the same verse location by tapping on the module name in the top information bar.

Enhanced Features
• More display preferences have been added for the text and tool search views including text and background colors.
• Syntax files installed to your iOS device via Easy Install or desktop syncing will add their information to the instant details view when appropriate.
• Scripture links in tools now use the top two texts in the Library view when looking for appropriate verse information.
• Better handling of low memory conditions.

Notable Bug Fixes
• Accordance for iOS now properly handles being restored via iTunes onto a new or existing iOS device. All user notes and settings are preserved and the initial module set is reinstalled. Other previously installed modules can be then added via Easy Install or desktop syncing.
