Nixle does not use the GPS in the background, and does not induce extraordinary drain on
the device's battery. Nixle uses low-frequency background location updates to ascertain your
current location. While the location icon will be displayed in the status bar, your device will not be
making use of the GPS and will not be using more than the usual amount of battery power.
