With Meteomed app you can see the best professional sea weather forecast for the Mediterranean, for the 128 specific sea areas (compared to the 22 offered by Meteomar) and 2.100 harbors, up to 1 days, with detail every 6 hours, updated 3 times a day (at 9.30, 15.30 and 21.30) available 24/7.

Each sea area has a different size, based on the local weather requirements. Sea areas are wider offshore, where there are no particularly vital weather-related elements, whereas they are smaller, and vary in shape, along the coast, as the different coastal orography considerably affects weather conditions. In order to facilitate the search, the 128 areas have been grouped into 7 macro areas, which do not share the same weather forecast.

For each of the 2,100 harbors there are also available 5 miles off shore forecasts, there is less the influence of coast when you gradually move away from the harbour, the conditions can change radically.
