XSCANPET is the perfect stock manager and inventory manager. Scans barcodes and uses an Excel as database. It uses the camera on your phone to read barcodes and look up item information in an Excel file (each row is an item or product with a code and a description associated).

XSCANPET works with a directoy on your SD card. Its name is '/scanpet' and will storage all the Excel files used by the application. This directory must storage at least one Excel file, used as a template from which generates output Excel files.

Excel formats supported are from Microsoft Office 95 to 2003 and Office XP (the format Office 2007 and later are not supported) This Excel is in fact a database with 5 default fields (you can add and edit column configuration):

* barcode number
* name of the item
* number of items requested
* comments or notes associated with the item requested
* send type

Each field is a column in the Excel. The columns can follow any order because you configure it in the "Preferences Screen".

Each row in the Excel will be a different item. The rows with data can start at any position.

XSCANPET let you edit the Excel files without an external and expensive editor.

XSCANPET will help you as a stock manager and inventory manager, using an Excel file as database.
