Dialect is an extensible, general purpose programming language that includes an integrated development environment with debugging support. There is built-in support for file-handling, regular expressions, sockets, GUI, etc. Native data structures include strings, arrays, frames (a.k.a. hash-tables), object-oriented classes, and more. Another benefit of Dialect is that it was designed in parallel with Dialect for Windows CE, so code is cross-platform, byte-code compatible.
