The Palm OS 3.5.3 update includes all changes in previous Palm OS 3.5.x updates, plus two additional fixes. These are to address a flow control problem and a dynamic UI pointer issue.

The Palm OS 3.5.3 update can be installed on any Palm-branded device running Palm OS 3.5.0, 3.5.1, or 3.5.2. Installing this update on top of any of the listed operating systems will update the operating system to Palm OS 3.5.3.

By installing this update, you will automatically have all the updates included in the 3.5.1 and 3.5.2 updates.
