Avoid pitfalls with vasoactive drug dose calculations.
Vasoactive drugs are the essential of hemodynamic management of vasodilatory shock when fluids fail to restore tissue perfusion.
Medical appropriate treatment in ICU or in the operation theatre for cardiogenic shock and many more cases require immediate treatment with intravenous drug infusion administration. Weight-based dose calculation in (mcg/kg/min) is an important initial step in such clinical procedures.

Isoproterenol (Isuprel,Isoprenaline)

Developer will continue to add more drugs and more concentrations to choose from to the application with upcoming updates. Different hospitals may carry different concentrations (dilutions) for their staff convenience.

Introduction
You choose patient weight in "kg" and desired dose in mcg/kg/min and application calculates ml/h for you. Before you start using the aVasoactive please complete setup and choose dilutions settings and brand names for any of the above-mentioned drugs.

How to get started.
After you install - go to App. Settings in iPhone or iPod touch and choose aVasoactive. In the application panel choose standard dilutions and brand names you are familiar with from the list, quit Settings and start aVasoactive application - you are ready to perform calculations.
