Scintillate is proud to introduce the release of iRadTech 2.1 for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. iRadTech is a positioning guide for Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist. Most patients are not aware that even experienced x-ray technologists occasionally need to peek inside a text book to complete an exam. With the hundreds of exams that a technologist is expected to perform it can be difficult to remember an exam you might only perform once or twice in a 30 year career. In addition to senior technologist, student technologist will find iRadTech a convenient and accurate guide and a great study tool. The purpose of iRadTech is to put positioning information at the tip of the technologist fingers. The technologist will find the positioning and x-ray pictures beneficial. With the detailed instructions the technologist will be able to perform accurate positioning and get the image correct the first time. Repeat exposures are the number one cause of increased dose for the patient and we can help limit patient dose by using iRadTech. iRadTech includes: 160 Radiographic exams. Expandable radiographs for each image. Expandable positioning pictures for each exam. Detailed instructions on how to position the patient and what to look for in your resulting image.
