Outlook Express (OE) works on Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and it is a freeware download.

However, consider that OE was superseded and replaced by Windows Mail when Windows Vista was introduced, and further superseded on Windows 7 with the introduction of Windows Live Mail. Also, OE will not work on neither Vista nor Win 7.
