Did you make sure to disable your anti-virus software before installing Flash? Does other Flash required media run without a problem?

Reboot the computer.
Make sure nothing is running in the background and disable your anti-virus software.
Reinstall the latest version of Flash.
Reboot the computer again.
When it comes back up, try to launch Total Video Converter.
If it still doesn't work properly, contact the software developer and let them know what you're experiencing. They may be able to provide a more specific answer.
