To subscribe to channels on Youtube using the iPad app, you will need to sign up and create an account on Youtube first, here is a tutorial on how to do that, Sign up for YouTube. Once completed, launch the Youtube app, enter your user name and password, then Search for the channels of the content you want to follow and then click subscribe on the bottom of the screen for each channel.
