This versatile and super slim PC strikes a balance between price and performance, offering the full capabilities of the operating system but at a price point other desktops can't touch. Expect to see these PCs on the market in late 2009 at a price point estimated at +/- $300, depending on configuration. The netbook is already a proven product category and nettops are waiting for their moment to shine. Both trim the fat to hit a sweet price point. Smaller and lower-power processors and smaller hard drives are the order of the day and with them, central network storage becomes important. Multiple PCs in the home can connect to the same central storage vault to share content like video, music and much more.
