You've got a band, you've got a MySpace band page. Rather than pimping www.MySpace.com/YourBandName, send your no doubt legions of rabid fans to www.YourBandName.com instead. Show Notes

- If you haven't already, create your own MySpace band or artist page.

- Register a domain name at Hover using the MYBAND 10% off domain registration coupon.

- On the homepage of Hover, search for the domain name you'd like.

- If your band name is taken, either choose a different domain suffix like .ca, .org or .net or add "band" to the end of the domain name you're looking to register.

- Choose if you want any email addresses associated with your domain and then click the + sign to add to your shopping cart. Review your purchase and click Checkout.

- Create a Hover account if you don't already have one.

- Create a registration record. If you want to keep your information private, check the box for "Don not publish my contact information." When checked the registrar, Hover, will be listed as the contact.

- In your new Hover account, click on the Manage Forwards tab.

- Click on the + symbol beside Manage Preferences.

- Change the pull-down menu to select "Forward to another website."

- In the text field, enter the full address of your MySpace band page. i.e. http://myspace.com/YourBandName

- Check the box beside Enable stealth redirection if you'd like your domain name to stay in visitors' browser address bar.
