The BlackBerry Pearl 8230 is RIM's first ever clamshell BlackBerry smartphone. It uses a SureType keyboard for text input, which is either a very good or a very bad thing, depending on your own preference. This is a small clamshell phone with a nice sized internal screen a good camera and pretty advanced media functions. It uses trackball navigation a-la candybar style BlackBerry Pearl.
