Miss Download

CDs are so 1990. Miss Download, AKA Cheryl Poirier, has a simple tool that makes it easy to get your music off the polycarbonate discs that currently hold it and on to your portable audio player. It's called FreeRip and, as the name implies, it's a completely free audio ripper. It can rip to and convert common audio formats like MP3, WMA, WAV and even Vorbis.

- Grab the download of FreeRip and follow the install process.

- Insert an audio CD to rip. FreeRip will connect to a database to populate the album info and song titles.

- Choose "View" and ensure that there's a checkmark beside "Ripper." Choose "Rip selected tracks."

- Choose "View" and choose the files to convert and select the file format you want to convert to.

Simple, right? Right!

You can consider looking at the MyTreo dot Net help forums, there are a few suggestions on 'how to convert PDB files to WAV or MP3'.
