Samsung went a step beyond just announcing pricing for the 10.1-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab. They announced a whole new tablet, an 8.9-incher running Honeycomb, Android 3.0, that rounds out the Galaxy Tab portfolio. From the Samsung Galaxy Tab 78910 press conference, we learned about the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9-inch, the latest addition to the line and got pricing: $469 and $569 for the 16GB and 32GB Wi-Fi only models respectively and for the 10.1-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab pricing, we now know that will sit at $499 and $599 for the 16GB and 32GB Wi-Fi only models running Honeycomb, Android 3.0. Samsung Mobile President JK Shin acknowledged that the tablet space is a hotly competitive one and promised to out-innovate competitors and to offer consumer options with multiple sizes for multiple use cases.
