When your BlackBerry comes from the factory, it uses a standard look and feel for the menu system. It doesn't have to stay that way. There are literally thousands of themes you can find all over the Internet. Just search on "blackberry themes." Here we'll show you how to apply a different theme to your BlackBerry device.

Show Notes

- On your BlackBerry move over to Settings and click the trackball.

- In Settings move over to Options and click the trackball.

- In Options move to Theme and click the trackball.

- Any installed themes will be shown here.

- The theme currently being used will have "Active" next to its name.

- If you scroll over installed themes you get a preview of what the theme will look like once applied to your BlackBerry.

- Select the theme you want by highlighting it and pressing the
trackball.

- The theme will apply itself to your device.

- Note that application icons may not be in their usual place.

- Once you rearrange the icons they will remember that setup so if you switch themes and switch back you won't have to rearrange again.

- Switching themes lets you personalize your BlackBerry.

- Many themes also improve the function of your BlackBerry.
