Take a deep breath, get in touch with your qi and focus on getting your Windows 7 icons centered in the taskbar. Can't do it, right? Not to worry. Lucas Cochran has a no-software-required tweak to move your icons from left-justified to centered. Or, slightly off-center even, if your attempts to harness your qi in the first part of this exercise failed.

How to center icons in the Windows 7 taskbar
- Create a folder called CTI on your computer.
- Right-click the taskbar, ensure "Lock Taskbar" is unchecked.
- Select Toolbars and hit New toolbar...
- Navigate to the CTI folder and select it.
- Right-click the CTI folder on your taskbar and uncheck "Show title."
- Grab the far right separator and slide it all the way to the left.
- Grab the left most separator and drag it all the way to the right.
- Tweak the separators until your icons are centered (or close).
- Create a folder called CTI on your computer.
