A major issue with home theater PCs (HTPCs) has been the wireless (or worse, wired) keyboard and mouse that invariably clutter the coffee table. Solutions like iTablet's Bluetooth Thumb Keyboard aim to make the living room less cluttered by demoting the keyboard and mouse to relic status... at least in the living room.

iTablet Bluetooth Thumb Keyboard
$130

The iTablet Bluetooth Thumb Keyboard looks a lot like a video game controller. It pairs via Bluetooth to just about any device including HTPCs, Android phones and tablets, iPhone, iPad and others.

In addition to offering a full QWERTY keyboard, the accessory has a trackpad on the back that can be turned on or off, depending on the applications. This makes it viable for use in HTPCs and with the Mac Mini or Apple TV. As an Android, iPad or other mobile device accessory, it's useful but comes with a price premium.

Build quality is a question mark: the unit we're testing is pre-production and feels mostly solid but with a few issues like a trackpad that rattles in its housing.

In short, the device is ideal for quick text entry; searching for a movie by keyword, for example. You won't be bashing out massive missives on its cramped and slightly awkward keyboard though.
