Manage Bluetooth on your Android phone

Once you've turned on Bluetooth on your Android phone you'll want to look at the settings. You can make your Android phone "discoverable," or opt to remain hidden. You can see a list of Bluetooth devices in the area, see which are connected and more.

- On your Android phone tap on Settings.

- In Settings tap on Wireless and Network.

- Under Wireless and Network tap on Bluetooth settings.

- Under Bluetooth setting you can also turn Bluetooth on or off.

- You can see the device name, in this case the Droid.

- If you wish, you can elect to make your device "discoverable," or not.

- You can also Scan for devices that have Bluetooth.

- Here, you can also see what Bluetooth devices your Android phone has discovered or paired with.

- In this example you can see that the Jawbone headset is paired but not connected.

- The MacBook Pro has been discovered by the Droid but has not yet been paired.

- Under Bluetooth settings you can manage all aspects of your Bluetooth usage.
