The Motorola BACKFLIP is the first phone we've seen that features a back-mounted touch panel for on-screen navigation. Running Android 1.5 and Motorola's own MotoBLUR social interface with a full QWERTY keyboard and a capacitive touchscreen in a unique backflipping package.

- Runs Android 1.5

- Update to Android 2.0 promised at CES 2010 but that's the last we heard.

- Handset is upgradeable to 2.1 according to Motorola's Backflip tech specs document.

- Interesting form factor with the keyboard and camera on the back and screen on the front.

- Keyboard "backflips" when in use putting the camera in front and the screen in portrait mode.
