NHL Slapshot on Wii from EA Sports

The Nintendo Wii is home to a more casual subset of video game players. EA Sports has a long history (in tech terms at least) of making some of the best sports sim games. However on the Wii, the company shows it understands what a more casual gamer wants too. NHL Slapshot features the easy to pick up and play Wii style as gamers take their favorite NHLer or their own character from Peewee pond hockey through to NHL with a fun and simple control scheme heavily featuring motion control.
