If Nokia is getting out of the Symbian smartphone game (in which, it must be pointed out, it's the only player) can someone explain the C6-01? This decidedly Symbian smartphone is quite slick but in light of Nokia CEO Stephen Elop's announcement that the company was leaving Symbian behind in its smartphone line, it feels a little like a last hurrah. If you'd never touched an iPhone or Android smartphone, you'd be blown away by this thing. Despite the excellent price tag relative to other smartphones, as it stands, the only real value here is nostalgic.

Nokia C6-01
$280 no term
$0 with contract
Get past the fact that this is, in theory, one of the last if not the last Nokia smartphone running Symbian that we'll see and you've got a solid phone with great HD movie capture and 8MP still capture, a nice bright (albeit small) AMOLED screen and an excellent build quality. To be honest, it feels more like My First Smartphone than like a current gen smartphone.
