@McMusq - Google has recently fixed that problem. You can go into the email setup for each account and change the SMTP server to the actual one for that account. So, for example, instead of my using Google's SMTP server for my drff.com address I would use the drff.com SMTP server. This totally elminates the "Sent on behalf of..." thing you're talking about. I totally switched 3 years ago and I've never been sorry. ... Doc

This seems all great, but i have 1 major holdback. When you send emails from any of the added emailaccounts, the receiver will always see it's send from xxx@gmail.com in the header of the emailproperties ('return-path'). Is there any fix to this, cause doesn't seem professional to me if costumers see you send stuff through a gmail account.

Oh, and to get rid of adverts in Gmail: use the Adblock Plus add-on for Firefox.

Another great episode - I'm in the process of convincing a friend to move from Outlook to Gmail, so I've sent him the link :) You mentioned Gmail's offline mode (using Google Gears) but I also use a free app called Gmail Backup (http://www.gmail-backup.com/) to keep a local copy of all my email & attachments. (Offline mode is only for the most recent 6 months, I believe.)
