We've learned that the Mac OS X Terminal is the door to all kinds of sweet pimps for your Mac desktop. However, it's not immune to being pimped out a little itself. Lucas rolls up his sleeves and hacks the Terminal to look a little less generic and a little more, well, pimped.

Show Notes
- With Terminal open, select the Terminal menu.
- Select Preferences.
- Select from the available customizations and options.
OR
- Under the Text tab, set a text colour, font size and other options.
- Click on the Window tab and select from the available options.
To create a custom Terminal window
- Click on the + sign to create a new profile.
- Choose from all the custom settings and save your new Terminal treatement.
- With the custom Terminal selected, click on Default.
- Select Preferences.
