What it is: A small 8x, USB-powered DVD writer / reader.

- About half the size of an Acer Aspire One netbook.

- Combined with your netbook, it's still lighter and smaller to carry than a full-sized notebook.

- Mac and PC compatible.

- Burns +R, -R, +/-R and RW DVDs.

- 8X DVD writing and 24X CD writing.

- No driver installation required as tested on Mac OSX 10.5.8.

- Includes a USB Mini B to two full USB cable. In our tests, we only needed to use one cable on a MacBook Pro, whether plugged in to power or not.

- Includes burning and DVD mastering software from Nero. This software is PC only.
