The Weather Channel
- Provides you with the full range of weather.
- Have multiple cities and locations.
- Tap the Menu key and you can add more locations, search, see maps and more.
- You can get an hour by hour outlook.
- You can also see a 36hr or a 10-day forecast.
USA Today
- Has a very easy-to-use and intuitive interface.
- Has tabs for Top News, News, Money and so on.
- You can also get Scores, Weather, Pictures and more.
- Tap an article and it opens to full screen so you can read it.
CNN
- CNN features a story at the top of the page.
- Other articles are arranged below with a brief headline.
- Tap an article and it will open so you can read it.
- Tap the Menu key and you can go back to the Home page.
- You can also add or remove a tab and reload a page.
WeatherBug
- Can automatically use your location if you allow it.
- Runs in the background.
- Provides up-to-date weather information.
- Gives you an extended forecast.
- Also has weather alerts.

- In many cases, you can listen to or read a story.
- Browse stories that cover a range of topics.
- Tap Stations and you can find an NPR station based on call letter or Zip Code.
