, a day when we celebrate this place we all call home. Computers have a positive impact on our lives, but they also have a negative impact on the Earth. By simply doing a few little things, we call all help reduce the impact of computers on our environment. So, this week I'm looking at some sweet software to help each of us do our part!

GreenPrint World Edition

- GreenPrint installs itself as your printer.

- When you go to print the program comes up and shows you what will be printed.

- You can tell it not to print specific pages.

- You can have it print text but not images.

- You can also have it save to PDF rather than printing.

- GreenPrint saves paper, toner, and trees.

- Auto Shutdown Manager

- Lets you control and schedule when your computers shutdown.

- You have lots of criteria you can set to prevent shutdown if needed.

- You can also set time limits on individual users.
