I find Windows Media Player to be much better than iTunes : along with a 3rdp party tool to export/import lists such as MP3Tag (freeware), it's awesome. The only "cool" iTunes guyzmo is actually its market place : nb. one in regards to business model, however it will screw up your MP3 files (especially file names, folder structure and ID3 tags), meaning that it will attempt to make it impossible for you to manage your files using anything else than iTunes, IF you don't pay attention (one must play with default options before doing anything such as scanning media files)... And it's HEAVY, it uses too much resources and leaves its traces all around your computer if you dare try to remove it... But in the end I guess it's a matter of taste : if you like to shop for music files, iTunes is the top, but for all the rest Windows Media Player is the numero uno!
