- Windows Vista User Account Controls [UAC] tweaks, tricks, and assistance brought to you by the Lab Rats.
- Administrator Level Permissions - you can change anything and everything on the system without hassle.
- Standard User Permissions - you can only modified your own portion of your environment.
- Even though your administrator on Windows Vista, the UAC will still prompt you with a message window telling you about the change you want to make.

- It's a good idea to set up a limited user account as your everyday Windows Vista account.
- How to disable Windows Vista UAC completely:
1) Click on the Windows button [AKA Start button].
2) Type "msconfig" in the search bar.
3) After System Configuration utility is open click on the far right tab labeled "Tools".

4) Scroll down the list of processes and select the "Disable User Account Controls".
5) Click Launch and the system will have to reboot. Your Done!
- Tweak Windows Vista's UAC without disabling completely by using TweakUAC:

- Advanced Tweaking of Windows Vista's UAC:
1) Click on the Windows button [AKA Start button].
2) Type "policy" in the search bar.
3) Click on "Local Security Policy".

4) Click on "Local Policy" located on the left hand side menu.
5) Click on "Security Options" on the dropdown menu portion.
6) Select your options and click OK. Your done!
