create your own web site

free web site design software

covered in part seven of our Web Site 101 series, you'll need to get those web pages and associated files to your site host's servers.

File transfer protocol (FTP)

is the answer. Simply enter your login info and server address (provided by your host) and send all your files!

You can download software and create your Website right on your PC. When you're ready you can upload it to your host. Or, you can use a service that is online and gives you the tools to create your page right on the Web. We'll look at both methods in this part of our Web Site 101 video tutorial series.
