If you're anything like us, it can be difficult to haul yourself out of bed in the morning. And, if you're anything like us, you're willing to try anything to rouse you from slumber in the morning. The XtremeMac Luna SST isn't the weirdest alarm clock accessory we've seen. In fact, it's not weird at all. Rather, it's a practical beside clock, speaker dock and charging cradle for your iPhone.

If you're anything like us, the last thing you need is another excuse to sleep in. We'll forgive XtremeMac for putting a dedicated snooze button on its 3 in 1 Microdock... but only because the sound quality and the core concept are both solid. Download the XtremeMac Alarm Clock app to maximize the functionality of this tiny, travel-friendly but still quite loud alarm clock dock.

If you, like us, have trouble hauling your self out of bed in the morning, meet Tocky. This little guy will jump off your nightstand and start rolling around the room in an effort to get you up and out of bed... as opposed to hitting snooze "just one more time." You may hate him for it at the time, but you'll love him when you make it to your annual review on time, thus keeping you gainfully employed and off the bread line.

If you've ever woken up to a blaring alarm only to feel like you just went to bed five minutes ago, you're not alone. The problem, if Sleep Cycle alarm clock is to be believed, is that you're getting woken up at the wrong time in your sleep cycle, when you're in a deep, restful slumber. Sleep Cycle alarm clock uses your iPhone accelerometer to judge when you're ready to be woken up and as a result, you'll feel better rested. Jay Goldman explains.

If you and your significant other are dedicated denizens of the Apple camp and so both tote an iPod or iPhone. If you're an incredibly dedicated denizen of said camp and have both an iPod and an iPhone. If you can't get out of bed in the morning. If you like to fall asleep to music. If you're not put off by a few frustrations. Whatever the case, the iLuv Double Play iMM173 deserves a look.

Talking
alarm clocks are old hat

you can talk to are the new thing. Hello Moshi is the first such clock that we've seen. Billed as aninteractive voice response alarm clock
," Hello Moshi responds to spoken commands. Say "Hello Moshi
" and speak to set the alarm, play a sleep sound, set the time, get the temperature and a few other features. It may not turn the alarm clock industry on its ear, but it's about thecoolest alarm clock we've seen

The Sharper Image makes all manner of high-end and niche consumer tech gear. The Projection Alarm Clock is an example of standard fare tech turned fancy pants. As the name implies, this AM/FM alarm clock offers up something a little different in that it allows you to project the time onto a suitable surface, like the ceiling or a wall.

It seems everyone has an iPod accessory of some sort to pitch at CES 2009. iLuv has been making excellent and forward-thinking accessories for Apple's ubiquitous player for almost as long as the device has been mainstream so we had to go see what was coming up next from the company. We weren't disappointed.
