SanDisk's latest, the Sansa Clip Zip, is a low-end digital audio player well suited to the Shuffle set. Priced competitively with the Shuffle (Apple's tiny DAP is the most logical comparison), the Clip Zip brings some features the Shuffle can't touch. Expandable storage via inexpensive microSD, radio play and voice recording. Oh yeah, and the 1.1-inch color screen. If you're looking for an inexpensive player for the gym, cycling or running, the Clip Zip is a solid bet. Budget a little extra for a pair of decent headphones though.
