We've already set up our Google Voice account to give a custom greeting for different caller groups. However, one

cool feature of Google Voice

is that it will

transcribe your voicemail message to text

. You can also choose to listen to your voicemail on the Web through the

Google Voice online interface

. You can also

receive voicemail as an email or even SMS text message

Google Voice Home Page

- When you have a voicemail it appears in the Web interface.

- Click on Voicemail.

- The

voicemail has been transcribed into text

.

- You can read the text or listen to the recording or both.

- You can call the person, send a text message, and more.

- Click More and you can mark the voicemail as unread, add a note, or block the caller.

- You can email the voicemail, download it, or embed it.

- You can be notified of the voicemail via email and/or text message.

- The notification it has the contents of the voicemail.

- When Google Voice is more officially released we'll be doing a full, 10-part series and covering all the features in depth.
