Nexus One front:
- 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen
- Charging light in the top-right, hidden in the screen bezel
- Earpiece above the screen
- Back, menu, home and search capacitive buttons below the screen
- Clickable trackball

Nexus One top:
- Power button on the left
- three-stage 3.5mm jack on the right

Nexus One bottom:
- Micro-B USB port in the center
- Mic on the right
- Copper contacts, presumably for desk chargers and other accessories

Nexus One left side:
- Volume / ring rocker

Nexus One back:
- 5 megapixel camera with flash
- Speaker cutaway

Nexus One - behind the battery door:
- 1400 mAH battery slides in sideways
- microSD card slot requires removal of the battery to access
- SIM card slot to the right of the microSD slot
