For people with various disabilities, using a computer can be a tedious job. Internet Explorer 8 improves on accessibility options by adding Adaptive Zoom, Caret Browsing, and more.

- The Adaptive Zoom in Internet Explorer 8 is a vast improvement over the zoom in version 7.
- Click on View, then on Zoom and select a percentage.
- You can increase the zoom by pressing CTRL +.
- You can decrease the zoom by pressing CTRL -.
- Another new feature is Carat Browsing which you can activate by clicking on View and then on Carat Browsing.
- You can also toggle Carat Browsing with the F7 key.
- With Carat Browsing you can maneuver the Web page with Home, End, PgUp, PgDn, and the arrow keys.
- To select text just hold down the shift key and move the arrow keys to select the part you want.
- To change the font size click View and then Font Size to increase of decrease the size of the font.
