When you're typing on your BlackBerry you can accidentally type "acn" and it will magically change to "can" which is what you intended. This is a function of AutoText and many BlackBerry users aren't even aware that it's there. Once you know you can go into AutoText and add words, delete words, and even edit words.

- On your BlackBerry highlight Settings and click the trackball.
- In Settings highlight Options and click the trackball.
- In Options highlight AutoText and click the trackball.
- Now you're in AutoText and you can highlight any word.
- Press the BlackBerry key and select Edit to edit the highlighted listing.
- You can highlight the Delete key and press the BlackBerry key to delete the selected entry.
- If you wish you can click the BlackBerry key and select New to create a new AutoText entry.
- For example, you can type in a word that means something to you, like "swt" and have that corrected into "Sweetheart."
