- Signatures most often provide contact information at the end of your email.

- In some cases people put quotes or other text as their email signature.

- Gmail provides a number of signature options.

- Click on Settings and then on Labs.

- Scroll down and look for Signature Tweaks. This puts your signature above the quoted text.

- Another one is Random Signatures and it rotates signatures taken from a list.

- There are a couple of good Firefox add-ons for signatures such asBlank Canvas Gmail Signatures.

- With this you can create up to four signatures for each email account that you handle via Gmail.

- Signatures can use HTML coding to make text bold, italic, underlined and more.

- WiseStamp Email signature can add signatures automatically or you can right-click and insert them exactly where you want.

- These signatures can also use HTML to add more character.
