Show Notes

- External hard drives are a good option if you want to expand memory to a secure device that you can take with you anywhere.

- There are many ways to connect an external hard drive including USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and FireWire.

- Computers that don't support USB 3.0 by default can have adapters installed so that they can use the faster USB 3.0.

- USB hard drive docks are another option that allow users to plug an external drive in, and often offer eSATA connectivity.

- Card readers are another option you should be aware of as many of these can read multiple types of cards like SD cards, MemorySticks and more.
