You likely already have a number of contacts in your Android phone, but you'd be amazed at the amount of information you can add to their contact sheet. In this tutorial we'll show you how to
add additional contact information
including additional phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses and much more.Download this episode now

- First go into Contacts either by going into the Dialer and tapping the Contacts tab at the top or by tapping Contacts in the application list.
- You'll now see your list of contacts. By default this will display all of the contacts in your phone, sorted alphabetically by first name. We'll show you how to change the order in which contacts are displayed in a future tutorial.
- Now, tap on a contact that you want to add information for. Tap the menu button and select Edit contact.
- You'll see that you can enter a first name or last name, or change those that appear already. You can also tap the more button to the right of last name to add a middle name or suffix.
- Further down you'll see that you can add phone numbers by pressing the green plus sign in the Phone section. These can be labeled as home numbers, mobile numbers and so on.
- Likewise you can add multiple email addresses by pressing the green arrow beside email, or just add one if you'd like.
- The same method applies to Postal address, and you can add multiple addresses here for home, work and so on.
- Under Organization you can enter whatever organizations or groups that your contact belongs to, along with a title for each.
- If you tap More you'll be given the option to add IM contact information, including handles for various services.
- You can also add Notes or a Nickname, if you are so inclined.
- Below that you can add a website, or multiple websites, or add information that you'd use to make an Internet call.
