In addition to subscribing to RSS feeds on the sites you like to visit and read every day, you can also find new sites that might be of interest to you within Google Reader. After all, it wouldn't really be a Google product without some kind of search function, right?

- Click on Add subscription.
- Enter search terms for an area of interest. i.e. cooking, technology, fitness sports, news, etc..
- If you see a site that's of interest, click on its subscribe link.
- Using the Add subscription box, you can also punch in a known URL to subscribe to a favorite site's feed.
- Any time a site you're subscribed to posts an update, you'll see it in your Google Reader.
