The
best keywords in Google AdWords
are the ones that drive traffic, that you can convert into sales. Keywords should represent what you're offering, be among popular search terms and ideally, not have so much competition that the price gets driven way up. - Sign into your Google Adwords account
- Click on your campaign.
- Select the Ad group you want to work on.
- Click on the Tools tab and then select Keyword tool.
- Input the keywords that you want your campaign to work with.
- Click on edit next to Results are tailored to in order to edit where your ads are seen.
- Select All Countries and Territories
- Click Get Keyword ideas.
- You now have a list of Google suggested keywords.
- Under Match Type select Phrase.
- When you find the phrase you like click Add Phrase to add that phrase to your campaign.
- Change Match Type to exact.
- Again click add to add those words to your campaign.
- Go back to the top of the screen and add in any more keywords that you want to add to your campaign.
- Follow the same steps as before to find the keyword phrases and exact matches that you want to use for your campaign.
- Repeat the processes as you feel is necessary.
- Once you have selected all your keywords scroll down the page and click Save to Ad Group.
- Once you are back at your main screen click your campaign and then Ad Group.
- Click on the Keywords tab.
- From here you can see all the keywords you have flagged.
