Adding photos to Google Earth

you can

associate your photos with a specific place

on the globe. You can choose to

share your photos

with the Google Earth user community or choose to

keep your Google Earth photos private

. This photo feature makes it easy to "

geotag

" your photos so you'll know where exactly on the globe they were taken.

Show Notes

- Get Google Earth.

- On the left side, under Layers, click on Gallery and then check Gigapxl Photos.

- In the menu click on Add and then on Photo.

- You can put in a link to an image that's on the Web or you can click Browse to pick an image on your computer.

- You can give the image a name, a long description and so on.

- When you're ready click OK.

- Your image now appears in Google Earth.

- Right-click and select Snapshot View.

- Move out and you'll see your image has become a camera icon.

- Right-click again and select Snapshot View and the image disappears, leaving the icon.

- Under Places you can double-click the image name and Google Earth will take you to the image.

How do I get the photo to show up where I want it? I put in the Lat and Long that I want on Google, but the photo goes someplace else. Help!
