- Note: Before beginning this series please view the complete Gmail 101 series and the complete Gmail 201 series.

- Gmail can handle attachments of up to 10MB: Update. The limit for attachments is now 20MB.

- You have the option to open a sent document in Google Docs, View it or Download it.

- The View function is actually quite powerful and will display a wide range of file types including .DOC, XLS, PDF, RTF, PPT, and more.

- If you click Settings then Labs, you can find the Forgotten Attachment Detector.

- This function works very well to prevent you from forgetting to attach documents.

- There's also an add-on for Firefox called "dragdropupload" that allows you to drag and drop attachments in Gmail.
