All about Flickr photos

With Flickr you can see photos from around the world. The World Map lets you see exactly where those pictures were taken. It's like a vacation from your computer chair! You can also tag your own photos and place them on a map: perfect for adding reference to your vacation photos.

- On your Flickr homepage click on Organizer and then click on Map.

- Select sharing options for your map in the menu that appears.

- Drag and drop pictures from an existing canvas onto the map to add "geotagging" information: localized data that tells people where your pics were taken.

- Click on Save map view and give your map a name.

Viewing tagged pictures
- Click on the menu pull-down beside the Explore tab and select World Map.

- Use the search box to search for specific topics or for friends' location tagged photos.

- Click on bubbles on the map to view photos.

- Click on Link to this map to share the map with friends.
