Show Notes

- First, we should point out that there is an SD card slot on the front of your Wii from which you can view or manage files.

- The Photo Channel allows you to view photos on your Wii or your SD card.

- When looking at a set of pictures, you can click one to see it close up. From there you can rotate, magnify or post the picture by clicking Post.

- If you click on Fun! you can try passing your image through filters, draw on it, add stencils, or make a puzzle out of it by cutting it up and jumbling the pieces.

- Clicking Slideshow will launch a slideshow which you can alter the settings for. You can change the order of photos, change the song that's playing and more.

- If you go to the News Channel from the dashboard, you can access news. Upon the initial load the Wii will spend some time loading and then ask you to confirm date and time.

- You can browse news by section like Sports, Business, etc. You can increase or decrease the size of the text and each story will show a small map indicating where in the world that story happened.

- If you click Slide show, you can see a slideshow preview of the news. Clicking a story will give you more information and pause the slideshow.

- The Forecast Channel shows you local weather but will also take some time loading the first time and ask you to confirm the time, date and region.

- Once you're in the Forecast Channel, you can see the weather forecast for your area and see a five-day forecast. You can also change the area or display settings whenever you want.

- Clicking the Globe button will bring you to a map of the world where you can zoom in or out and scroll across the globe to get a preview of the weather in various regions. Clicking a city will allow you to see more details or a longer forecast.

- The Internet Channel will launch an Opera Powered browser that features a Start Page where you can get controls, see an operations guide or change the settings.

- The browser does support Flash so you can see videos, though some graphics-heavy pages may take some time to load.

- If you scroll down to the bottom, you'll see a toolbar where you can access favorites, enter a URL and more.

- Once back at the dashboard, you'll notice that channels that you connected to the Internet with will now appear active and display information.
