- You can use Rentometer.com to find out how much rent should cost you in a given area.
- Just select whether you are a tenant or landlord, and indicate the address along with city, state or zip. You'll also need to enter the rent and enter the number of bedrooms.
- You will then be taken to a screen that shows the apartment location on a map along with some statistics about the rental price.
- On the map you will also see other apartments near by with their rents listed.
- If you click on Explain you will get an explanation of Rentometer's calculations.
- Red is overpriced, green is underpriced and yellow is about average.
